Messed up on our bill.... but quickly corrected it and gave us 15% off.

Small portion, average quality but have good view.

Included with our package at the Fairmont Hot Spring Spa, my boyfriend and I excitedly headed over to Mountain Flowers Restaurant to enjoy our complimentary breakfast.

As we walked into the restaurant, we waited a few minutes before we were greeted by a hostess. She sat us down and informed us that our server would be right with us.

The breakfast menu had a decent selection. I was ready to order the "Early Riser" and my boyfriend was eager to order "Steak and Eggs."

Unfortunately, we never even got the chance to make our order. As we waited PATIENTLY for our server to greet us, we witnessed more patrons being seated in the establishment. The hostess notified us once more that out server would be "right with us."

This theoretical server never arrived to our table. We did not even get the chance to meet her. As time elapsed (roughly 30 minutes to be exact), we started to feel more ignored and confused. Multiple employees would pass our table, and would avoid eye contact and service. Why was no one coming to our table? We were not even offered drinks to start.

I had to ACTIVELY grab the attention of one of the restaurant employees to ask why no one was taking an order at our table.

With a disinterested and rude attitude, the young lady claimed that there was only "one server" on shift, and that she had trip and hurt herself.

If this was the case, why were we not informed? Where was the communication? Despite her claim, we witnessed with our own eyes, OTHER SERVERS bringing food to other tables, AFTER questioning why no one was serving us at our table.

With this theoretical server injuring herself, I can't help but wonder if this establishment has proper safety precautions and procedures for its employees. Why is there only "one server" on shift, when you can clearly see multiple employees running around the restaurant? Do they know anything about team work?

We felt as though the employees at this establishment were trying to instill guilt in us for expressing the issue. After blowing $300 and spending a good 8 hours driving to this resort; of course we're going to be darn mad that we've been sitting in the establishment for over 40 minutes to not even be acknowledged.

Words cannot express how infuriated we were. Simple acknowledgement and communication would have been appreciated. Instead of sitting around and wasting our time at this establishment, we would have been better off not coming here at all.

It is VERY rare for me to ever write a review filled with so much disappointment and negativity.

We definitely WANTED to like and enjoy our experience at Mountain Flowers restaurant. We did not even get to try the food (Which I'm sure we did not miss out on much, based on the management of this establishment).

I understand that if the claim was true that their was only one server on shift was injured, why did they continue to seat patrons into the restaurant only to leave them hanging?

There are so many questions left unanswered. Absolutely horrid. I repeat: Horrid.

We were accommodated with complimentary lunch (At at different establishment on the resort) for the inconvenience; which we took with appreciation, but we could not help but feel continually disappointed about our experience with Mountain Flowers. Reason being, the food itself was not the issue (That we did not get to try). Our issue with the establishment was the obvious disorganization and terrible customer service/management.

This experience left a terrible taste in our mouths, and we didn't even have the chance to try out the food.

I would not hesitate to label this as the worst customer service experience I have ever experienced in my life. I definitely DO NOT recommend this establishment to my fellow tourists and friends.

Save yourself from the time and money and go elsewhere.

Included with our hotel package we were expecting a much better experience. First off we found a hair on one of our plates. Only hslf of the breakfast potatoes were cooked. And the toast was cold. You could tell it had been sitting out. Not impressed.
